The tension mounts as the Elk ‘s winter draws to an end and decisions must be made as to where to go next. Two enemy tribe must also be dealt with, but some of the lost have been found.

I love this series and, as things begin to draw to a close, the tale takes on a new urgency, the action gets more desperate and all the threads begin to draw together. This is, without a doubt, the best of the books so far.
