If you like books where the MC is always the weakest character in every scene, and only side characters can save him, then this is the series for you. I was hoping the MC would eventually grow up, and become one of the stronger characters in the book. Our dog just keeps taking a beeting time after time, book after book. At this rate, I’m pretty sure the final battle will come to the MC being used as a punching bag for half an hour, then the main antagonist will slip in the MCs blood and kill himself on his own weapon. As the main Antagonist finally dies, he will probably lose control of his bowels, and deficate in the MC’s face. Eventhough these books are free, I may have to give up on them.
