I found myself extremely drawn into this book. The author tells story after story of his time on the job as well as his feelings and emotional connection with each event and the job itself, basically just story time. As a firefighter I was able to connect with each and every story, emotion, feeling, etc. Perfect for firefighters from brand new rookies to a week until retirement and beyond.
