We met Dane and Christian in the previous book. We didnt get much insight into their relationship, just that it burned very hot and then abruptly ended. Well now we finally get their story. Both men carry so much baggage that any relationship between the two is going to be difficult. Dane, runs when emotions become involved. He has to learn how to accept his past before he can have any sort of future with Christian. Christian has to learn to forgive. THere is alot of turmoil in this book and their happy ending was hard fought. I absolutely adored this story.
Narration by Connor Brown was pretty good. Most of the voices sounded very similiar and at times it was difficult to tell when the character was “thinking” or “talking” to someone.
