This book had me hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t stop listening. This is a second chance romance that is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I loved Alina and Chase’s story, but sometimes found it hard to listen to (but it was a great story). There were more lows than highs in this story, so when things finally started to go their way, I was finally happy for them. I liked the other characters in this book too. I loved the Duet narration in this story. I thought the male narration seemed a little old for the younger Chase and Jax, but was great when they were older. Female narration was great. Looking forward for the next book in the Sugarlake series.
