This story had a little of everything. It started with a heartbreaking event and the consequences of others tragic decisions. It also has some very sweet and romantic moments as well. Megan learns shocking secrets that upends her whole life causing her to pick up to pieces to protect her daughter and herself. She reconnects with an old friend, Garrett, at the hospital. Garrett has always been in love with Megan and feels very protective of both her and her young daughter, Laney. He is determined to not lose this chance to finally make Megan his. This story is filled with surprising twists and turns. It is a breathtaking and poignant story that will keep you totally engaged.

Sarah Puckett does a terrific job capturing each characters personality. Her voice changes were distinct and her intonations makes you feel all the terror, anger and passion that Megan and Garrett felt.

I really enjoyed this thrilling, emotional and steamy romance!
