This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by L A Cotton. I was glued to the story. There were times my heart just dropped. Completely. Very few smiles here. I am emotionally attached to the characters and the cliffhanger was awful. Gotta get the next one to see what happens.
Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross are excellent narrators. Their performances brought this book to life. Loved how it ran like a movie in my head. I look forward to hearing more books narrated by these two.
