I’ve listened to a lot of books, Only three or four when unfinished. I almost added another one to my list, but I use this one to go to sleep
The main character/heroine is poorly developed, Lax judgment and frankly should’ve died about halfway through the book for her stupidity.
What the minor plots the book is character growth. That’s well and good, many of the characters changed and grew. Not Emma. Kind of destroys a reasonable book.
Nothing I listen to is a literary masterpiece. Summer better than others and some are just bad. This one isn’t turned it off put it away bad but it is bad.
