There was definitely less demon lust which I consider a good thing.
The author likes to set up plot events and then go on long tangents during the events which is kind of annoying.
At least the plot is somewhat progressing though. The power dynamic seems really skewed though. Hard to gauge people’s strength when it’s long drawn out battles versus being 1 hit.
