The mc jumps between stupidly passive to stupidly aggressive. Like a light switch. Then add that to silly sound effects that are stock sounds that often only vaguely relate to the events in the book. Need a bit of pouring water… Let’s use a babbling brook sound effect. And the effects are added at random times to just kick you out away from what ever enjoyment you might have had. It’s almost like they are trying to get you to dislike the book.
