interesting premise but lacking in execution.
I feel like the author has a good story to tell, but the writing falls short. The main characters are not very smart and are not very dedicated to their quests. They make foolish choices and their banter quickly comes off as them being jerks. They fail to actually discuss things with each other and make mistakes that way. Somewhere around halfway I realized that I did not like the main characters. I think there’s supposed to be a overarching plot, but it just appears as random events that happen to the MC, without anything in the way of participation by the main cast.
