What disappointed you about 36 Hours?
The story started okay. This book was not terrible, however I had to quit an hour into the second book. The author is targeting young teenie-boppers and that was not what I wanted. If you are easily offended and have a delicate sensibility, this is your book.
What was most disappointing about Bobby Akart’s story?
The G-rated, dumbed down content and use of an unprepared, unskilled protagonist. The main characters are unfamiliar with firearms, do not keep supplies on hand and are generally not likeable people. This reminds me of some tame 50’s black and white Christmas movie instead of a story of survival.
What about Kevin Pierce’s performance did you like?
Kevin Pierce is an amazing narrator and he is the reason that I bought this book. His other work is outstanding. It is not his fault that this book sucks. He still does a good job reading.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment
