I like Bobby Akart ok. I have read and enjoyed other stuff by him without the strong Jesus undertone. I love apocalyptic novels. But you had better be born again to appreciate the fact that it is ok to murder and loot as long as you are right with god. My favorite cynical moment, was when they were surprised to find a church in rural TN and had to stop the car to pray. LOL surprised to find a church in the rural south, counting churchs could be a DUI provoking drinking game down here.
I could have seen past the random Jesus moments if I was not paying a full credit for a 5 hour book. I can buy Stephen King’s The Stand, all 40+ hours for the same price. The entire series on audible cost 6 credits and is shorter than the 1 credit Stand.
If you can get it cheap it is ok, but don’t even start at the current pricing.
