It is simply dumb compared to other dungeon books. The fairy is constantly doing things are detrimental to what they are doing. Like naming things in ways that hurt their development when she knows they could be in danger. The protagonist was such a pushover that he allowed stuff he knew could kill him because he didn’t want to offend the fairy a bit. And she also lacks in being helpful. Like forgetting to tell the person with no memory that there is a thing called traps. Like that’s hard. which is her purpose as a fairy in the first place.
