What a Rollercoaster this book put me through.

I really enjoyed the feelings this book caused. No fancy plot involved, purely a book that follows a relationship that is beginning and all the complications that can go along with falling for your boss. It also explores purely internal struggles of falling in love for the first time before being ready.

I constantly wanted to punch Gabe, never finding the situation to be very safe for cute sensitive Dylan. The drama was believable and thrilling to follow along with how they were going to navigate this situation. The entire book is a Rollercoaster of feeling tense and worried that bad choices were going to be made by 2 people at very different stages in their lives.

Overall this book was sexy and a good time. It’s a easy read as it doesn’t require a whole lot of thinking to follow the narrative. I think this book is borderline a chicken soup book for me as it was easily consumable, not terribly complicated and mildly enjoyable.

Some very dramatic scenes did make me uneasy and I’m sure a lot of sensitive people would get triggered. None of the triggers though are too terrible if you just stick with this book to the end. Sometimes getting that dread feeling in your gut over a complicated romance isn’t all that bad as long as the story follows through by satisfying those anxieties. Trust me that it does get better and you wont be left with that dread feeling by the end.
