The writing is pretty mediocre. The story has potential but idiotic main characters always piss me off. And the horrible voice that the VA gives him just makes it worse. He randomly makes dumb, rash decisions at the most ridiculous times. Not to mention the incessant questions he asks about the most obvious things. It’s clear that the author uses this as a vehicle to explain minutiae but having a little more faith in the intelligence of the reader would go a long way.
