This is still a very solid progression series.
Yes there is a cliff hanger. If that ruins an entire book series for you, never watch a TV show ever.
Yes there are overpowered character. Welcome to the GENRE that’s kind of the point. This part of the series was developing the true villains of the series so of course they are going to be stronger. How boring would it be if the main character was the most powerful the entire time.
The Negative reviews on this book silly and from people who really don’t get the genre of cultivation. They have the right to there opinion, but don’t let there opinion take away from the fact that this was enjoyable the whole way through.
