The author is good at world building, I like most of the characters. I will start of by saying I am only half through the second book. My issuse with Zach is that he’s a character with ideals but will follow people or groups that go against them for stability, or the so called greater good. For me that’s fine for a side character, and hard to pull off for a mc. As for characters like Ryun justified or not he sticks to his ideals, that being said I didn’t like Ryun during the first half of book 1.
