My problem with this series is it feels so rushed I read half way through shera’s story and I’m done she’s the worst character, yet she’s supposed to be the good guy?
Calder got a bad treatment in this his story he’s not a good character either but his whole character arc feels so annoying to go through. And again cutting the story in half just makes you feel so empty .

And the ending is so dumb the elders are so strong that they have one of the judges guarding the dimension yet shera can kill one ? Yeah I know taking human foam gives them debuffs but urg’nott fought the reaper in human form and escaped ( I haven’t gone through sheras side in book 3 ) . It’s just so inconsistent please don’t waste your time and money buy unsouled trust me that’s one of his better series.
TLDR half finished and unsatisfying
