I am so glad that the 2nd book in this series is out in just a few more days. While it doesn’t end with a cliff hanger it does end with a burning desire to know what happens next. The world building is creative and fascinating. The characters are unique and so loveable (in an anthropomorphic way). The pov is from all 3 MC’s, each having a very different concept and understanding of the lives they are living. And of course, bringing different skill sets and interpretation to both the situation and their relationship. I absolutely loved it.
This book was narrated by John Leslie. As per usual, his talent and skill set take this story above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend listening to this story.
