Ok 4 books is all you’re going to get from me, Joshua.
The premise of the series, although absolutely unoriginal, is a premise I like to read about, but the author is quite lazy in his world building, even going out of his way in apologizing (kind of) in the text, by saying that all the aliens are kind of the same, bipedal, bilaterally symmetric, because reasons (unmentioned at book 4, i guess he could always have a big reveal after book 15?).
This is just one of the indicators that this author is not really very interested in scifi, just churning out adventure pulp.
