This book was such a great read (listen)! I loved the entire concept along with backstory being woven into present day. I think this will be a book that I will have its claws in me for a while. I don’t know how the author does it, but her gothic thrillers always seem to be a hit with me. Just the right amount of thrill/suspense/darkness. Ms. McMahon…Jennifer, please don’t ever stop writing and dare I ask for a sequel. 🙏🏻
