This is the second book I’ve listened to by Rick R. Reed and I loved it as much as I loved Blink. Another 5 stars from me! This is also the second book I’ve listened to narrated by David Allen Vargo. Wow!!! All I can say is wow. The way the narrator performed this book brought it to life like only he can. These two are a match made in heaven.
I listened to this, from start to finish, on a drive across Texas. It was the perfect accompaniment for my trip. Once I got home I put in my Bluetooth ear buds and listened till the end. This is one of those books you just don’t want to put down.
I cried, I smiled, and I never wanted it to end this book contained all the feels.
I won’t regurgitate the book blurb, you can read that to see more info on what the book is about. If you want a light fluffy read this is not it, this book is gritty and thought provoking. I’d like the reader of my review to understand they won’t go wrong in taking a chance on this book.
