This book was an excellent adventure into the simulation theory style. The religious undertones create a link between our common interpretation as humans of the great beyond and what may actually be there. Though there are a few small plot holes the story and concept itself are exciting. I also find the ending to be satisfying. There is definitely room for a book 2. But there was a few times during the book where the implications of what was happening gave me chills. Certainly worth a read. Do not look at this book as a recruitment for religion but as an excellent scifi simulation novel that uses religion as a possible base or reference point for the main character.
