I love Lily Mayne and was so excited to start another one of her series but unfortunately this will be a DNF until I have the time to sit and read. The narrator has no real range in emotion and simply speeds up reading during a tense scene. I had to rewind a few times just to understand what he was saying. He also just sounds so flat and uninterested. Not the tone I want in a narrator.
