DNF Children cannot concent.

No matter how you dress this up, it’s about pedophilia and making excuses for it. I didn’t read reviews before I started and wished I had. From the synopsis I thought maybe familial love built on the ruins of a troubled childhood.

Nope.

It’s the story of a MAN in his 20s grooming a CHILD from a very young age. I found it particularly disturbing the way the author tried to place blame on the child through the child’s POV. A child cannot consent. A child can very easily be given the wrong ideas about love, both physical and emotional, but we should never be okay and accepting of a physical relationship between an adult and child.

This is not beautiful. This is not groundbreaking. This is not love conquers all. This is child rape and molestation excused with flowery language.
