I started off enjoying this book as it promised an interesting story but halfway through, it turned into a pedophile’s fantasy. I found it disturbing that it seemed to portray the inappropriate sexual relationship between a little girl and grown man as a sort of “star-crossed” lovers while portraying the people fighting to prevent it as bad people. This book felt like an attempt to normalize pedophilic behaviors and make it seem romantic.
