First Off – I’ve literally read every book that Jack Hunt has published here and really enjoyed his writing. I think his subject matter here left him limited and ham-strung. While the premise of the story is pretty good, it’s basically “High Noon” / “Outland” in a frozen Alaska with some differences. The book is so short that proper character development isn’t really done well and the climate change dogma is so heavy-handed that skeptical doubt isn’t even allowed. Overall, it was just a huge disappointment considering the rest of what he’s written.
