The narrator was the only reason I could finish this. I liked the concept of the plot and all, but the actual events were pretty trite and tired.

First book was bar far the best. I’d say that by itself, it was actually pretty good and a fun little romp.

Books 2 and 3 are just a mash up of annoying and slightly offensive characters and pop culture references that come across as stale and not particularly humorous.

You will probably predict all the twists as soon as you meet new characters, and the plots resolve as conveniently as possible in all situations.

I’d recommend the first book, but can’t say the same for 2 and 3.
