Despite this story being very short, I couldn’t finish it. I go through over 100 books a year and almost never abandon them.
Apparently this is part of a series. Perhaps it’s enjoyable to superfans of the series who have built up a love for the characters. As an outsider, this gives me absolutely zero interest in checking out the series.
It’s sappy sweet, with no plot to speak of. I would have assumed it was a story meant for small children, except for profanity and allusions to sex.
