There are so many reasons why I didn’t connect with this audio book. The story is disjointed and the characters are not very complex or interesting. There is no profound character arcs. The best part was the speculation around economic forces and climate mitigation. The least compelling part was the narration. I’ve listened to 500+ books and I’d say this was in the bottom 5% of what I’ve been exposed too. Your mileage may vary.
