Author spent so much time on trivial narratives. Talking to a dog, listening to a dog. Silly conversations and inattention to their situation while being shot at? Really poor and unrealistic story line. If it wasn’t for the suburb narration I would have given up by chapter five. I enjoyed book one, but this book was disappointing.
