First let me say that I love Platt and Truant, I hate writing this review. The change in narrator wasn’t a huge deal breaker but it’s big. Kevin Pierce is a great narrator but after listening to 3 books with Ray Porter the switch was abrupt and definitely changed the way I saw the characters. The deal breaker was that this book was drastically different than the last 3 in the way it was written. Way too many “thoughts” and “feelings”, the storyline gets lost in it, it was hard to keep up and I heard it as filler. The storyline itself was frustrating to follow, in the end I didn’t know what was going on and I didn’t care. Stick with the first 3 books and make up your own ending! Save your credit.
