I really wanted to like this book but I just didn’t. I felt like the story was almost ready to really begin though the entire book but it didn’t really ever have a take off moment for me. Events happened and they were intriguing bit never really captivating. The performance was fine and the writing was fine but the story never crossed that line into good for me.
I would give the author another shot with a different series but not going to continue down this path.
