Disappointed

Instead of a close study of the P-51, this book recapped the air war over Europe.

No mention of the A-36 Apache, the best part of the book was mating the Merlin with the North American airframe.

Only a third of the book was about the mustang, the remainder was general WW2 knowledge.

Upon reflection, this book was written for someone unfamiliar with WW2.

Worth a listen, but if you’re already a Mustang fan, you’ll be disappointed.
