I’m almost done with this book but wanted to review it early for a few reasons. Those reasons were the narration of the book. I love anything that Kevin Pierce narrates, but this time he seemed bored reading the book. There wasn’t his exceptional range of voices or any excitement in the tone of his voice. There was one thing that was worse, the female narrator! She was awful! At first her voice seemed robotic and then too sugary sweet; it was an annoying voice. I would rather hear Kevin doing the female voices as he has done with many other books he narrated. The story was horrific and sad. It also shed more light upon the story, giving more details than I ever knew. So, the book itself was good, sad but good, but the narration was terrible.
