Overall these three books were quite disappointing. They seem directionless without strong character development or plot development. The main character is difficult to relate to and mostly just haughty. Every other character is portrayed in a way that is unrealistic, difficult to appreciate and with clear mental deficiencies. The overall setting is interesting but lacks the sense of discovery and wonder that would make it compelling. I was hopeful initially but by the end was left disappointed.
