Time travel story about a man who never got over the death of his father and is forced to confront it. With out spoiling anything, he is forced back into time through different time periods of his hometown. Along the way there are many different encounters that lead to some intense and horrific encounters.

The story moves along fast, was easy to listen to and the characters were enjoyable and easy to follow. The book seems to take place after another one of Jeremy’s book called, The Others. It appears to be a stand alone and The Others isn’t required to read this one it seems. The only things I didn’t care for was the religious aspect for some of the explanations and the ending. The ending felt like it was missing something and a little too clean compared to the rest of the book.

The narration was great and reminds me of RC Bray. There aren’t unique voices, but there is enough change in pitch and accent to distinguish between the characters. 3.75 stars. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
