I listen to a lot of true crime. This book explores the cause and psychology behind the surge of serial killers and our interest in them. It is thought provoking for that reason. There are some graphic details in this book – not abnormal for true crime – but it has an edgy feel at times. Hard to explain until you read it but, for instance, you will hear quotes from the cannibals on their thoughts on human flesh and how to cook it. So be prepared.
