The series has some very clever moments, but as one reviewer put it, “How should we fix this?” ” I know, let’s blah blah blah.
Overall, though, it’s very clever. A lot of negative reviews invoke the words “slave, sex, and harem”. The first book has slaves. The rest of the series does not. People are not compelled to do things as slaves. Actually, the main character and author puts a lot of time and effort into improving the people around him and having them grow as people. Give it a try!
