Aside from being a little heavy handed with the global warming message, The Last Storm is one heck of an action packed story. As the title of my review says, it’s like Die Hard in the middle of the worst storm ever. It’s officer Alex Riley’s first day on the job and as a massive storm rolls in the apartment building he lives in gets taken over by a group of drug dealers searching for their missing stash, and it’s up to him to save his family and the rest of the residents. Great characters and fast paced action kept me entertained from start to finish. I pretty much listened to it straight through.
As always Kevin Pierce delivers another spectacular performance. He’s definitely one of my favorite narrators.
