This was a cringey listen, and I’m glad it was free with my audible subscription because I couldn’t finish it. The female lead acts like she’s 13 and the whole premise of her being stuck in another timeline is painful. It’s a cool idea, but after 5 years of living basically alone and eating cold canned vegetables, she’d be way more bonkers than she is. And why in the world can’t she live a “normal” life in her alternate timeline?! It’s just stupid. Maybe if she had been stuck in the alternate timeline for like 6 months, I could have bought into it. Just yuck.
