I really enjoyed this book … except for the music. It was loud and often contrasted with the mood. The narration and voicings were delightful, and the humor was often brilliant. But the music reminded me of the old forgotten days when a cassette tape would get stuck in a car player and those songs would become the soundtrack of your life, playing over and over regardless of your desires. I hope in the sequel that they take cues from any movie, and use the music to enhance the story, rather than smother it.
