I was recommended this book because I absolutely loved Say you swear, and this book was supposedly better. It was not. It was way too long, and I really struggled to get through it. I didn’t like the female MC too much either, nor the narrator. I did like Beck and his narrator. If the story would have been shortened by 1/3 and cut away a lot of unecessary “fill” – it would have had potential.
