#TeamFinley

This author is such a fantastic storyteller. The characters always have great development and depth to them. We always get to see them evolve as people; no matter how small or large, there is always something they improve on in their lives separately and also when they finally do end up together as couples.

I really liked this book. It was interesting and the storyline was great with the perfect (not too much) amount of angst and drama. I would enjoy getting even more from these two guys in the future.

You could just tell the characters, Tanner and Finley, had a strong bond together right from the start even when they weren’t quite sure what to do with their feelings for each other and what needed to ultimately happen between them.

Tanner drove me crazy through the first half of this book – I just wanted to smack some sense into him! Along with pretty much everyone else, I just didn’t understand his thought process behind waiting to form the mating bond, beyond Finley coming of age. The entire time Finley felt that rejection from Tanner, I felt it right along with him and my heart hurt for him. When Finley left the pack for some much needed time away and met Jamie I was almost giddy hoping that they would hook up. And even if they didn’t end up getting together I hoped it would still push Tanner into getting his head out of his butt to FINALLY make Finley his. I needed to make sure that Finley got his HEA no matter who it ended up being with. In the end, when Tanner and Finley ended up together, it was beyond super-hot! I think that the chemistry and bond they had together made their connection feel just so much more intense. They were sweet and cute and totally perfect for each other and it was wonderful getting a chance to see them experience their mating connection, I loved how that part of the book was written in.

Audio – I think that Joel Leslie was a perfect choice for these two characters. I liked how he chose the inflections in his voice for each man and made them both fit seamlessly together. He did a great job, like always, and I really had fun listening to this audiobook.
