It so long to find the words to describe the journey this book has taken me on. ML Wang has done it again by writing such a devastating, inspiring book with such a strong message. The social commentary is perfection. The message of healing, acceptance, and recovering from tragedy is just so powerful.
This book ripped my heart out and then put it back together in such a unique way. I am so glad I read this book- I truly think it has changed me for the better. Sacrifice, duty, loyalty- all of these are questioned and examined in this book as the characters learn what they are made of and how to respond to tragedy.
I cannot recommend this book enough! 10000/10
