The story is below average for the genre. Narrator is better than average. The overall rating drops due to blatantly ovwrsexualizing a story aimed at 13yr olds. Here are a few direct quoted. “Her mons pubis is completely hairless” “her Arreola were darker than he expected” etc etc etc. There is also a weird understanding expressed by the author about graphic rape fantasies being discussed by a couple characters. It’s always odd when a book just randomly goes into depth empowering the graphic descriptions of graphic rape fantasies then the target turns around a couple chapters later and there’s a graphic sex scene with the love of her life. It’s just deeply weird. doesn’t add anything to the book and at the end it just seems like the author is trying to normalize the expression of deeply disturbing rape fantasies…. So weird…
