What an unexpected surprise. From a well defined main character (Jan St. John) to a descriptive paranormal world surrounding Jan and the people she comes into contact with in her life. This book is much about so much more than what the Publishers Summary describes. There’s a little bit of everything in the book. Murder, ghosts, magic, romance, sex and so much more… but somehow it all works.
Sarah Puckett did a good job at being Jan St. John. Her voice fits for the character. Sometimes she did sound too much like she was just reading, but most of the time she sounded very natural and like the character she was meant to be portraying.
