The weakest entry into the Delver series. I wish the author wrote a recap chapter for both Delvers and Hazard, but instead Hazard is just shoehorned in and we are expected to have read the Hazard series. The problem is that each of the author’s series are so different from one another that they’re not all going to resonate with everyone. So if you never read or even disliked hazard… good luck (shes basically a female version of Henry; blunt and an asshole, but without the humor and is kinda cringe).
outside of the hazard, the story feels more of a Delvers book 3.5. the book moves at a snales pace and more of a side story.
