Production is really good with key passages enhanced with sound effects, music or both.

All narrators brought that something extra special to all the characters. Soundbooth theater narrators are quickly becoming some of my favorites.

Story was better then some of the other stuff out there and without spoiling anything, I think the author did a great job writing a story that threw you a curve ball as to what to expect (like the first party the MC formed and the events that followed), all too soon the book ended and I can’t wait for the next book to see the MC’s progression and hopefully get to the meat of the series.

The one downside of the book is that this book though 12hrs+ is really just the intro.

It is essentially here to set up book 2. You’ll understand as the book one ends. That is not to say that nothing happens. Thankfully, it was to me a very good listen and it took the time to lay down the foundations for what seems to be a grand epic.

I hope that future books do not disappoint.
